Utter Shite

Can someone please tell me why my life has to be so shite. I'm currently at a crossroads. There is this fantastic opportunity for me to work for another company. The career progression is amazing. But they pay is maybe 25$ less a week, which is for me the perfect time to take this opportunity. I'm young(ish) I have no partner, no children and I just want to work for a company I love. So I tell 3 people - members of my family and I get 2.5 negative responses. My dad gave me a response I was happy with but I feel it has put a damper on the whole topic. I so hate me right now!
