Wrong side

This morning I was clearly not in a mood to go to work. I had a head cold I felt unhappy. I haven't been sleeping all that well. This is due to the place I'm living in. There is no insulation between the neighbours. I can hear them run up stairs, my floorboards creak and also sometimes doors close and while I'm the only one in the place I realise it's next door but it kind of freaks me. What if there is an intruder and I don't know because I think it's next door. Doors clearly sound like they are closing from within my house but I know that's not possible. It's keeping me awake. I think I'll get out my sleeping tablets tonight ... argh, nothing like prescription medicine.

Then, I work with this person who has been sick for the past few weeks, only they go out with their family camping on a bloody mountain. They come into work even sicker. Personally I have no sympathy for people like that. It's their own fault. I mean who goes camping when they have a chest infection. Talk about stupid!

At least I made it home. I can feel my throat closing up - hopefully not another case of tonsillitis.
